摘　　要：通过对不同地域、不同时代众多建筑实例中廊子的研究,提出廊子在建筑设计中的主要作用,即可以作为建筑自身的交通空间、建筑之间的联系、建筑中的共享空间以及特定的装饰功能等。在此基础上,结合部分建筑实例,剖析了廊子在设计中存在的朝向问题、立面处理缺陷等,并提出了相应的改进意见。Dozens of porches built in different stage, styles and patterns are investigated which locate in north and south of China. The functions of porch are summarized as traffic area of building, traffic passage, the share room and certain function of ornament. Then, the existing problems in porch design are analyzed based on practical cases, such as wrong orientation, inadequate vertical patter and so on. Finally, some suggestions are given to improve the design of porches.
