摘　　要：夜晚时分，新建在葡萄牙可因布拉市蒙德哥河上的精美大桥看起来就像是横跨在河流上的一条彩色光链。桥的建筑师塞西尔·巴尔蒙德通过在拱形钢结构栏杆的玻璃覆层上使用各种清淡柔和的色彩来达到这一效果。彩色玻璃巧妙而富有趣味性的应用拓展了人们在跨越大桥时的感官层次（见412页）。在其他城市里，越来越多的建筑被覆上了彩色玻璃立面。白天，室内充满着柔和的彩色光线；夜晚，整个建筑像巨大的彩色灯笼一样熠熠生辉。Like a chain of coloured lights stretched across the river - that＇s the night-time impression of the delicate new bridge over the Rio Mondego in Coimbra （Portugal）. Its architect Cecil Balmond achieved this effect by using different pastel shades in the glass cladding of the railing of the arching steel structure： Subtle, playful use of coloured glass adds a new sensory dimension to the experience of crossing the bridge （see pp. 412ff.）. In other cities more and more buildings are being clad with coloured glass facades, their interiors bathed in soft, coloured light by day and at night glowing like giant colourful lanterns.
