摘　　要：作为一种有意识的思维形态和信息传达手段,模糊语言在言语交际中有着非常灵活的语用功能。在言语交际中,交际者常在主观上故意使用模糊语言,将模糊语言作为一种交际策略,从而使语言更加委婉、含蓄。模糊语言的使用能帮助说话者进行自我保护,提高语言的表达效率,增强语言表达的灵活性。模糊语言的表现形式主要有外延不确定的模糊词语,把事物弄得模模糊糊的模糊限制语以及虚拟语气、反语和双重否定句模糊句式。As a conscious form of thinking and means to transmit messages, vague language has its flexible pragmatic functions in verbal communication. Communicators intend to use vague language subjectively and regard vague language as a kind of strategies so as to make expressions euphemistic and reserved. By using vague language speakers can protect himself, and improve the efficiency and flex- ibility of his expressions. The paper also shows the main expression forms of fuzzy language in verbal communication： vague words whose denotations are not definite, hedges whose job is to make things vague and the vague sentences of subjunctive mood, irony and the sentences with double negative forms.
