摘　　要：绝大部分词汇不仅具有词典意义,而且具有深厚的文化内涵,深刻理解词汇的文化内涵,对在国际交流过程中正确使用词汇和翻译词汇具有十分重要的意义。本文通过对6个政治词汇文化内涵的典型分析,揭示了中英政治词汇在使用过程中存在的误解、误译、误导的现象、类型和原因,探讨了组合创词、正确选词、巧妙借用、源语直译、直接音译等语言策略,阐明了重视词汇文化学研究的理论意义和实践价值。Most words have not only dictionary meanings, but also culture-loaded meanings. It is of great significance to have a thorough understanding of culture-loaded meanings of words and to translate them appropriately into a foreign language. Through analyses and comparisons of the culture-loaded meanings of some typical political words in English and Chinese, the author attempts to explore the phenomenon, types and reasons of misunderstanding, mistranslation and misleading of their implications. Focusing on the theoretical meanings and practical values in emphasizing the study of culture-loaded meanings of words, the author also proposes such techniques for dealing with culture-loaded words as creative formation, correct choice, clever borrowing, literal translation and transliteration.
