摘　　要：全面建设小康社会是党的十六大在基本实现小康社会基础上确立的新目标,这一目标的提出对推进中国特色社会主义的建设具有重大的指导意义。本文试对其提出的背景、内涵及其理论来源等方面进行探析。Building a well-off society in an all-round way is a new objective set by the 16th National Congress of CPC, at a time when the previous goal of building a well-to-do society was basically achieved. The objective is of guiding importance to the socialism with Chinese characteristics. This paper is a probe into its background, connotation and theoretical source.
