摘　　要：借鉴制度经济学中企业边界理论,初步建立城市边界的概念、内涵,指出城市边界主要由其资源禀赋和内在能力双重因素决定,并将其划分为纵向、横向、多元化三种主要类型,最后分析了南京当前城市边界的现状,指出了存在的缺陷及发展方向。Notable changes in the boundary of city have taken place lately. By exploring the cause of such changes, further understanding of the properties of enterprise Could be obtained. The boundary of a city would be determined by the resources and the internal ability. In the end, the article analyzes the urban boundary of Nanjing with empirical data.
