摘　　要：文中阐述了发动机管理系统中加入车载诊断系统对控制排放的必要性,论述了OBD系统的发展、基本原理以及催化器失效、发动机失火、氧传感器劣化的监测原理及检测方法,并对OBD系统面临的挑战及发展趋势作了简要的概述。This paper p_esents the necessity of adding an OBD system to the engine management system to control the engine emission. It also discusses the development and basic principle of OBD system as well as the monitor principle and method of three-way catalyst deterioration, misfire, exhaust oxygen sensor. At last, the facing challenge and development trend of OBD system are briefly summarized.
