摘　　要：低调陈述是与夸张相反的一种常用的修辞格。低调陈述可以通过以反代正、以弱代强等多种方法构成。其修辞功能是欲扬故抑,增强渲染效果,使语言更加讽刺、幽默,对人物的刻画更加逼真,使语言的表达更加有力。Understatement is a frequently used rhetorical device opposed to exaggeration. It can be constructed by many methods such as by saying something opposite to express something, by using something strong to express something weak, and by degrading something to upgrade something, etc. Its rhetorical function is to get effective exaggeration, to make language more sarcastic and humorous, to describe people more vividly to make expression more forcefully.
