摘　　要：简要介绍了当前高性能计算机、并行算法、并行编程环境和高性能计算应用的国际研究现状和发展趋势,阐述了近几年中科院高性能计算环境建设和高性能计算应用的发展情况,最后对我院发展高性能计算技术及应用给出了几点思考。This paper briefly introduces the state of arts and developing trend in the intemational research on High Performance Computer, parallel algorithm, parallel programming environment as well as HPC （high performance computing） applications. And the progress of building HPC environment and the development of HPC in CAS are also described. Some suggestions and comments are provided for the development of future HPC technology and application in CAS.
