摘　　要："海盗精神"是北欧人民在征服自然、与其他民族作斗争过程中形成的民族传统。易卜生塑造不惜生命追求土地、财富、荣誉和自由的北欧海盗形象,刻画追求自由和精神反叛的艺术家形象,表现北欧人民的开拓精神、抗争精神和自由精神,是张扬基于民族传统的海盗精神。海盗精神具有两面性,易卜生突出其开拓进取、顽强抗争、追求自由和渴望荣誉等积极因素,淡化其抢劫杀戮、暴力血腥的消极一面。易卜生将挪威民族传统加以现代阐释,把政治热情和民族意识作为戏剧和诗歌创作的思想基础,讴歌个性解放、彰显个人自由。他的创作目的是要激励受压迫被奴役的挪威民众,谋求民族解放、国家独立和人民自由的道路。海盗精神是易卜生追求"人的精神反抗"的个人主义思想的集中体现,是北欧人民在现代化进程中需要继承和发扬的民族传统。“The Viking spirit” is the national spirit of Northern European people that forms in the course of their struggling with nature and other nations, which is reflected intensely in Ibsen＇ s creations. The Viking spirit has two sides, of which Ibsen, however, highlights the positive tors, and lightens the violent aspects. In his works, Ibsen molds the images of free Vikings who pursue their land, their wealth, their honor without hesitating to give up their lives and portrays images of artists who have rebellious spirit and love of freedom to eulogize Northern European people＇ s enterprise, their resistant spirit and their love of freedom. His creations attempt to drive his oppressed Norwegian fellows to seek the emancipation of the nation. Therefore, the Viking spirit embodies Ibsen＇ s idea of individualism; it is the national tradition that the Northern European people need to inherit and to develop in the process of modernization.
