Objective To approach the relationship between oncogene coding protein expression in tumor tissue and tumor metastasis from patients with ovarian cancer. Methods The percentage of p53V+, CD44vS+, CD44v6+, cerbB-2+, nm23+ cells and DNA content in the tumor tissue from 32 patients with ovarian cancer were measured and analyzed by flow cytometry. Results The percentage of p53V+,CD44vS+,CD44v6+and cerbB-2+ cells in tumor tissue were significantly higher than those in normal control (P〈0.01 or P〈0.05 ). As tumor metastasis, these parameters were gradually increased. The percentage of nm23+ ceils in tumor tissue was significantly lower than that in normal control (P〈0.05).As tumor metastasis, this parameter was gradually decreased. These parameter were significant differed followed by difference of DNA ploid types in tumor tissue. Conclusions There is marked relationship among the expression rate of oncogene coding protein, DNA ploidy in tumor tissue and tumor metastasis in patients with ovarian cancer. Therefore, regarded as not only a marker of development and metastasis also a reference for the judgment of malignant degree prognosls th of of ese parameter may be ovarian cancer, but the cancer and the prognosis.
