摘　　要：庄子在我国文化史上产生过巨大的反响,具有重要意义。"(庄子)宋之蒙人"是屡见于两汉至唐文献的古说,当指庄子的里籍。把东明定为庄子故里,为考索庄子生平提出了新说,值得重视。Zhuangzi, a figure of great importance, has exerted great influence on the development of China＇ s history of culture. The identity of his hometown is clearly manifested by the statement that Zhuangzi is＂born in Meng of the State of Song during the period of Warring States＂, frequently recorded in the literature concerned from the Han Dynasties through Tang Dynasty. To identify Dongming County of Shandong Province as Zhuangzi＇ s hometown offers a new approach to the study of his life and is worth more effort and further research.
