摘 要:对基于Jones矩阵法的偏振模色散(PMD)测量方法进行了充分的研究,提出了计算测量Jones矩阵的通用公式,提高了测量Jones矩阵的精度;建立了基于高速数字化偏振态产生器(PSG)和Jones矩阵法的快速高精度PMD测量系统,将测量PMD时间缩短为<15s,重复测量精度可达0.028ps。实验表明,这种快速高精度PMD测量系统具有很好的实用价值。The method to measure the polarization mode dispersion(PMD) based on Jones Matrix Eigenanalysis has been studied in the paper. A general formula to calculate the measured Jones Matrix was proposed,which improves the measure ment accuracy of the Jones Matrix. The high speed and accurate measurement system of PMD based on high speed digitized polarization state generator(PSG) and Jones Matrix Eigenanalysis was built up,which can shorten the measurement time of PMD to be less than 15 s and enhance PMD resolution be up to 0. 028 ps. The feasibility of the high speed and accurate measurement system was confirmed by the experiment results.
