Objective To explore the expressions of ER, PR and PS2 in gastric carcinoma and their clinical significance. Methods The expressions of ER, PR and PS2 in 80 cases of gastric carcinoma were assayed by Immunohistochemistry(IHC), analyzing the correlations among them and clinicopathological significance. Results The positive expression rates of ER, PR and PS2 were 38.75% (31/80), 36.25% (29/80), 43.75% (35/80) respectively. The expression of ER showed a positive correlation with the expressions of PR(rs = 0. 966,P 〈0.01 ), while the expressions of ER and PS2, PR and PS2 showed a negative correlation between them ( rs = - 0. 357, P 〈 0.01 ;rs = -0. 329 ,P 〈0.01 ), The positive expression of ER, PR didnl show significant difference with the neg- ative expression of PS2 . The positive expression of ER, PR and PS2 respectively had the significant difference between Borrmann Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Borrmann Ⅲ, IV. The positive expression of ER , PR had the significant difference in differentiated degree, lymph node shift number (P 〈0.05 ) ,while the positive expression of PS2 was on the contrary ( P 〉 0.05 ). Conclusion The expressions of ER, PR may closely related with the pathogenisis growth way , and the lymph node shift. While the expressions of PS2 correlated with the growth way in gastric carcinoma.
