摘 要:话轮是会话的语义单位,话轮转换使会话有机运行。话轮转换有其规律可循。依据话轮转换规则,可探知每一话轮的真实和潜在含意,获得会话语篇的全面意义。英语教学中的对话研究可使学生有目的、有成效地识别和运用语言规则和论语规则,加深学生对对话语篇的理解,增强学生运用目的语进行有效交际的能力。Turns are semantical units of conversations and the rnles of turns make conversations go on smoothly. There exist rnles in turn-taking. According to the rules, notional and potential implicatures of each turn in a conversation can be recog- nized as many as it would be. Two dialogues from a recent "college English course" are chosen, by random, as samples to be analyzed. The rnles of turn-taking have been pointed out and the conversational implicatures of each turn have been inferred. Teaching of dialogues can be varied by means of recognition of the rules of turn-taking and analysis of conversational implicatures. Doing like this, dialogues can be used as actural and effective materials for building up the learners' communicative competence of the target language.
