摘  要:阐述了二语语境知识在二语学习者词汇发展过程中的重要意义。通过讨论词汇能力的不同定义和词汇能力与词汇知识的区别以及二语词汇发展的三个阶段揭示了词汇能力的本质及其发展规律。王初明提出的补缺假设强调了语境在二语习得中的重要作用,这为减少二语词汇发展阶段中的石化的可能性以及提高二语学习者的词汇能力给予了一定启示,也促使了二语词汇教与学中对词汇习得和语境结合方法的探讨。This paper seeks for demonstrating the significance of second language (L2) contextual knowledge in L2 Learners' development through lexical development. It shows the essence of lexical competence and the rule of its the discussion of various definition of lexical competence and the distinction between lexical knowledge and lexical competence as well as the illustration of the three stages of lexical development in L2. Compensation Hypothesis proposed by WANG Chu-ming lays emphasis on the significant role context plays in Second Language Acquisition and thus gives inspiration to the question of how to reduce the possibility of fossilization of L2 vocabulary in lexical development and how to improve lexical competence of L2 learners and brings about the investigation of the integration of lexical acquisition and context as well in L2 vocabulary teaching and learning.
