摘　　要：都城是一国政治、经济、文化中心所在,选择恰当的地理位置定都就成为一个重大的战略问题,因此历来为各王朝统治者所重视。唐为我国历史上封建时代之最强盛王朝,其都位于今陕西省关中地区中部西安市一带。鼎盛之唐之所以建都城于此,就在于关中地理条件优越,经济条件得天独厚,交通便利以及李氏集团政治基础坚实。A capital city is the political, economic and cultuial centre in a country so that it is a significant stratege to select an appropriate geographical position as the capital. So every dynasty paiol serious attention to it. Tang-dynasty was the most powerful country during the feudal period, and it＇ s capital lay in Guanzhong ar- ea. It is because Guanzhong area had perfect geography environment, peculiar economic condition, convenient traffic, Which benefited the solid political foundation of the Li＇s family.
