采用SPSS10.0进行统计分析。 Objective To investigate the attitude of the public in the epidemic areas about the possible psychosocial effects of fluorosis. Methods In the epidemic area of Xingtai city in Hebei province, 35 dentists, 30 dental students, 36 college students in non-dental schools, 34 clerks and 30 leaders were selected to evaluate the possible psychosocial effects of 20 typical fluorosis photos. Each evaluator would answer 7 five-point questions according to each photo. SPSS10.0 software was used to analyze the data. Results The Mean of the evaluation score was going up with the increase of Dean's Index (DI) score, ranging from 2.27 to 4.71. Significant correlation was existed between the evaluation and the degree of fluorosis, which the correlated coefficient ranged from 0.657 and 0.767. The evaluation scores of dentists were lower than those of other evaluators. The evaluation scores of the public in fluorosis epidemic area were statistically associated with the degree of fluorosis, which the partial correlation coefficient was above 0.7. The demographic data of the evaluators was also correlated to the evaluation. Conclusion The public in fluorosis epidemic area considered that mild or less fluorosis could not cause evidence psychosocial effects, which was also correlated to many factors.
