语料库的“代表性”问题及其对英汉翻译语料库建设的启示

摘　　要："代表性"的问题关乎语料库建设的全局。本文首先介绍了国外在翻译语料库建设中有关"代表性"的讨论,接着指出,在当前理论研究尚不成熟的情况下,英汉翻译语料库的建设应依照"翻译原型"的观点,以搭建翻译语料库"核心的核心"为起点,在进一步理论研究的基础上再进行语料库的扩充。Representativeness is of paramount importance to corpora.By way of analyzing the discussions abroad on representativeness in the creation of translation corpora,the author points out that the creation of an English-Chinese Translation Corpus should start with creation of the 'core of core corpora' in the light of 'prototypical translation' and that theoretical research should precede the actual enlargement of any English-Chinese Translation Corpus.
