摘　　要：TL16C554是德州仪器公司生产的异步串口芯片,具有4路16C550的功能.主要介绍了TL16C554的性能及其工作原理,同时采用Verilog HDL作为硬件功能描述方式进行分析.可编程通用异步收发器模块的实现以及仿真实验的结果验证了设计的正确性.TL16C554 asynchronous serial port chip is produced by Texas Instruments, which has four road Chip function. In this paper, the properties and the principles of TL16C554 is introduced using Verilog HDL as a way to describe the design of hardware. The design is correct verified by the overall implementation of a programmable Asynchronous Transceiver Module and experimental simulation of the design.
