摘　　要：目的探讨真核细胞翻译起始因子(eIF4E)在头颈部肿瘤中的表达及其临床意义。方法采用免疫印迹方法(Western Blot)检测40例头颈部恶性肿瘤和10例头颈部良性病变中eIF4E抗原的表达。结果所有头颈部恶性肿瘤均有eIF4E蛋白表达,而良性病变组织中eIF4E蛋白表达较少,所有的特异性条带均位于25.0 KD的位置,二者差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。在头颈部恶性肿瘤中eIF4E表达与患者年龄、性别、病变部位及病理类型无关(P>0.05);eIF4E表达与TNM分期、病理分级相关(P<0.05)。初诊病例与复发病例之间eIF4E表达有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论eIF4E在头颈部肿瘤的发生、发展及转移中可能起重要作用。Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of eukaryotic initiation factor 4E （elF4E）in head and neck neoplasms. Methods The expression of elF4E in 40 specimens of carcinomas and 10 of benign lesions of head and neck region was detected with Western blot technique. Results elF4E was overexpressed in all 40 carcinoma specimens and weakly or not expressed in 10 benign ones. All specific bands were around the sites with molecular weight of 25.0 KD. In the carcinoma cases, the overexpression of elF4E was not correlated with age, gender of the patients and site, pathologic type of the tumor （ P〉0.05）, but with the tumor＇s TNM stages and histological grades （P〈0.05）. The difference of expression rate between preliminary and recurrent cases was statistically significant （ P 〈0.05）. Conchusion The elF4E may play an important role in the pathogenesis, development and metastasis of the tumor.
