摘　　要：为了保证在高误码信道情况下图像通信的传输质量,提出了一种新的基于感兴趣区域的三维多描述量化编码方法,该方法在三维空间对码本进行排列,将信源量化为3路互补的信号,通过任意2路信号均能完全恢复原图像信号,适用于感兴趣区域的图像编码。To improve the quality of images in image communication system in high error prone channels, a three dimensional multiple description quantization coding based on regions of interest （ROI） is proposed, which arranges codebook in space and quantizes source samples into three descriptions. Any two of the three descriptions can reconstruct the source completely. It is applicable in ROI image coding.
