摘　　要：半乳凝集素-3是β-半乳糖苷凝集素家族的蛋白,广泛分布于各种正常组织和肿瘤组织,在不同的生理及病理条件下发挥着多种生物功能。目前有关半乳凝集素-3与肿瘤细胞的黏附、增殖、血管生成、肿瘤组织的发展及转移的研究取得了较大的进展,并成为疾病诊治特别是癌症治疗的很有前景的靶标。简要综述了半乳凝集素-3与癌症相关性的研究进展。Galectin-3 is a member of a large family of β-galactoside-binding animal lectins and is widely spread among different normal tissues and tumor cells. Galectin-3 exhibits pleiotropic biological function, play a key role in many physiological and pathophysiological processes, especially in the tumor cell adhesion, proliferation, angiogenesis, cancer progression and metastasis. Nowadays, galectin-3 become an attractive target for the development of new strategies in the diagnostics and treatment of some diseases especially cancers. In this paper it was reviewed the role of galectin-3 in tumor progression.
