摘　　要：DNA结合抑制因子4(Id4)属于螺旋-环-螺旋(HLH)蛋白家族,可与碱性螺旋-环-螺旋(bHLH)蛋白分子形成二聚体,负性调节bHLH的功能,影响相关基因的转录。Id4在正常组织与肿瘤中有不同的表达谱,与肿瘤进程有密切关系。在肿瘤发生、发展过程中,Id4通过竞争结合转录因子等途径而发挥重要作用。Id4基因是抗癌治疗的靶因子,其启动子区在多种肿瘤中发生甲基化导致基因沉默,可以用于临床诊断和治疗,有广阔的应用前景。Inhibitor of DNA binding 4（Id4） is belong to helix-loop-helix（HLH） proteins family. Id4 can negatively act on base helix-loop-helix（bHLH） proteins and regulate transcription as heterodimers with bHLH proteins. Id4 has an intimate relationship with tumor, as it has different expression pattern between normal and tumor tissue. With the development of tumor, Id4 play an important role by binding with transcription factor. Id4 gene is a target for antineoplaston, because aberrant methylation in the regulatory regions of Id4 is associated with the silencing of gene expression. So, Id4 has a bright perspective in diagnosis and treatment.
