摘　　要：严歌苓的小说一直在寻找一种不会在翻译过程中流失中国文字的神韵、生命的文字语言。她不仅将生命的全部感觉通向语言,努力拓展自己的母语资源,而且一直致力于用母语寻找到更具全球意识的叙事角度,表达出能为世界、他族理解的语言情感。在语言上,严歌苓本身呈现出"地母"般的胸怀。她的写作在小说人物、故事走出了"北京"、"上海"的同时,也使汉语走出中国本土而获得了拓展、深化。In her novels, Yah Geling has been seeking a language which is full of life and which is not to lose the verve of Chinese language in the process of translation. By turning what she feels about life into words and extending the resources of her mother tongue, and with a global sense in her mind, Yan has been making an effort to look for a narrative angle to express a language sensation comprehended at home and abroad. She presents a broad mind in using language. The characters and stories in her novels are not only limited in Beijing and Shanghai, and this helps Chinese language to gain international recognition and extension.
