摘　　要：考察了艾略特《荒原》七个中译本中的宗教典故翻译,发现七个译本中的宗教典故翻译不同程度地存在着"望文生译"、混译和不译的问题,导致"文化传真"的失效和"读者接受"的困难;探究了这些问题出现的原因在于译者的翻译态度和方法,讨论了文学作品中宗教典故翻译的一般性原则与策略。Examine the translation of the religious allusions in the seven Chinese version of The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot,propose that there are more of less mistranslations like＂translating the superficial meaning＂,＂mixed translation＂and ＂keeping the text lanuage＂,resulting in ＂cultural facsimile＂failure and difficule＂reader＇s acceptation＂,which is caused by the translators＇ attitueds and approaches ,and discuss some general principles and strategies for translation of religious allusions in literary works.
