摘　　要：以全面提高教学和人才培养质量、培养创新型和复合型人才为出发点,从加强基础、拓宽专业、注重理论体系的贯通融合及新材料研究成果的引入等方面探讨了材料科学基础课程建设与改革的主要思路。Taking promoting the quality of teaching and cultivating personal, cultivating innovating and versatile personnel and as a point of departure, the paper-has discussed the main idea of the curriculum establishing and reforming of ＂the basics of material science＂, from the aspects of enhancing basics, widening major, paying attention to the integration of theory system and introducing the new achievements of researching new material.
