摘　　要：音高在汉语语词里是区别特征,属语言成分,在语句及英语语词和语句里却是非区别特征,属副语言成分。揭示英汉音高韵律特征的功能差异,对英汉语言的对比研究和英语语音教学具有重要的意义。Pitches are the distinctive features in Chinese words, belonging to linguistic features, but non-distinctive features in Chinese sentences as well as English words and sentences, belonging to paralinguistic features. The analysis of these differences attaches a great importance to the comparative research of these two languages and teaching of English Pronunciation and Intonation.
