摘 要:"泥泥狗"是河南淮阳太昊伏羲陵"小泥塑"的统称。淮阳"泥泥狗"造型古拙、怪诞,黑色垫底,周身施以五彩纹饰,色彩艳丽。品种有数百种之多,多为奇禽异兽或人、兽同体或长着多头的怪物等。淮阳"泥泥狗"既具有观赏价值,又具有实用价值,又有其宗教价值。同时,它更有着宝贵的古文物价值。淮阳"泥泥狗"不仅是人们研究"人类学"、"民俗学"的活性史料;同时泥泥狗所特具的人类本源精神、直觉创造性和生机勃勃的现代感,对中国现代艺术的发展,也具有极为重要的影响。Clay dog is a joint name for small clay sculptures made in Taihao Temple of Huaiyang , Henan Province. the clay sculptures are simple and eccentric with black bottom and bright multicolored stripes. The clay sculptures are mainly strange animals or many - headed monsters. Clay dog has ornarnental, praltical, relgious and historical value , so clay dog is not only the live historical document of anthropolog and ethnology , but it shows the spirit of human origin and creativity. It has a great influence on the development of modern art in China.
