摘　　要：Brown和Yule针对读者对文本的阐释,从语言学、心理学、人工智能等角度对读者如何推理进行了归纳,认为读者可以利用框架理论的动态模式进行推理以获得作者的意图。以认知框架理论解读短篇小说《女房东》,说明默认值如何填补空缺从而对文学语篇进行阐释,有益于读者对文本的预测和更好地把握。Brown and Yule generalize how readers infer and explain the context from angles of linguistics, psychology, artifi- cial intelligence, they got conclusion that readers could infer the author＇s intention by using the dynamic model of frame theo- ry. This paper tries to analyze the short novel Landlady by using the frame theory and to explain how default values are filled; and through this process the context is well illustrated.
