摘 要:上海沦陷时期影响力较大的文艺刊物《万象》在沟通雅俗的实践上比较成功,1942年秋《万象》分两期以较大篇幅发表关于"通俗文学运动"的论文,它们探讨借鉴传统产生新型通俗文学的可能性,行文中不乏"中国作风"和"中国气派"等解放区文艺论文中的高频词,具体而直观地展示了杂志编辑者时顺应时势的文学样式的倡导。将这次讨论放在"五四"之后人们如何看待"大众"、"通俗文学"的线索上观照,可以更切近地把握当时的作家及学者对于新文学得失的思考,以及在当时的语境之下发掘传统资源的功利意义。WANXIANG, as one of the most influential periodicals in Occupied-Shanghai in 1940s, once published six papers about "Popular I.iterature Movement" of great length which discussed about the theoretical and practical possibilities of creating new popular literature with the help of traditional culture. Such words in liberated regions as "Chinese style" and "Chinese manner" repeatedly appeared in these papers, which clearly showed the preferential tendency on the part of the editors toward the literature required by the epoch. By examining this discussion in the background after May Fourth Movement, we are able to grasp the ideas of those writers and scholars about new literature; and also the practical meaning of exploring traditional resources.
