摘　　要：根据普通高校足球教学中所遇到的足球教学内容和方法与学生实际需要相脱节的现象,运用以比赛形式为核心组织足球教学的方法进行教学改革实验研究,以探讨提高教学质量的方法和途径。研究结果表明,比赛式教学能调动学生学习的积极性,发挥学生的主导作用,提高教学质量。The content and methods of football teaching have been divorced from the actual demands of students for quite a long time. Thus a series of experiments on teaching reform have been conducted bearing the purpose of solving the longstanding problem,and a new method of football teaching as match approach has been under going trial to heighten the teaching effect. It was indicated that teaching competitions mobilize the students＇enthusiasm to study, exert the students＇leading action to improve the teaching quality.
