摘　　要：本文在调查研究现代中医基础理论研究获奖成果、科研课题、学术论文、学术著作,以及专家访谈、会议研讨的基础上,重点讨论以下问题:1.中医理论的先进性及其历史贡献;2.发展中医理论的重要现实意义;3.中医理论现代发展的概要情况;4.中医理论现代发展存在的主要问题;5.中医理论发展的总体趋势;6.中医理论发展的战略目标与思路;7.中医理论发展的战略重点与主要任务;8.中医理论发展的保障措施等。Based on a range of modem TCM theory events, including awarded research findings, research projects, academic papers, experts interview, and meeting presentations, this paper contemplates the following issues： 1） the advanced nature and historic accomplishments of TCM theory; 2） importance of today＇s TCM theory development; 3） an overview of today＇s development of TCM theory; 4） major existing problems in TCM theory development; 5） general trends of TCM theory development; 6） strategic goals and thinking lines of TCM theory development; 7） strategic focus and main missions of TCM theory development; and 8） supporting measures for such development.
