摘　　要："脱亚入欧"实质上是指近代亚洲落后国家走欧洲资本主义发展道路,融入欧洲发达国家发展序列。近代中国没能"脱亚入欧",原因主要在于变革指导思想落伍保守、变革的广度和深度不够,以及历史发展机遇一再错失。这与近代日本形成鲜明对比。＂Break away from Asia and merge into Europe＂ essentially means that some modern undeveloped Asian countries walk along the capitalist road and merge into the developed European countries. The reason why modern china doesn＇t break away from Asia and merge into Europe lies mainly in such weak points of its reforms as the un- cultured and conservative guidelines, the restricted width and depth of the transforms and the continual loss of the historic opportunity. These reforms in modern china are in sharp contrast to Japanese reforms.
