摘　　要：冷战结束以来,东盟各国在外交和安全方面的抱负与日俱增,不仅越来越倾向于用"同一个声音"说话,而且也日益看重自身的角色定位,不再满足于只做别人的棋子,更多以一个棋手的身份参与地区内外各重要领域的合作与竞争。东盟实体的扩大及其角色调整便是其政治独立和经济腾飞后民族自信心、内部凝聚力以及区域一体化进程同步迈进的逻辑结果,而这又从另一方面进一步加深了周边大国的战略竞争。Since the end of the Cold War,the aspiration of the ASEAN member states in diplomacy and security has grown steadily.The expansion of its size and adjustment of its role are the logic outcome that resulted from the growth of national self-confidence,internal cohesion and regional integration in the wake of its political independence and economic takeoff.And this in return has further aroused the strategic contention of the big powers from the neighboring regions.
