摘　　要：本文介绍了植物甾醇和甾烷醇的性质、来源、代谢及其降胆固醇作用和作用机理。This article described the chemistry,metabolism and the effects of plant sterols and stanols on cholesterol metabolism and the mechanism of plant sterols and stanols in lowering serum cholesterol levels.
