摘　　要：司汤达小说《红与黑》中的于连,在法国王朝复辟时期不甘平庸,努力从社会底层向上流社会攀登。他向上爬的过程一波三折,最后幡然悔悟,拒绝与上流社会同流合污。于连的人生道路,深刻地演绎了否定之否定的哲学规律。Julien, the protagonist of The Red and the Black, was unwilling to be mediocre in the French Restoration Period so that he made every attempt to climb up in the social ladder toward the top. After the twists and turns, he finally woke up and broke away from the upper class. Julien＇s life experience well embodied the philo- sophical law of negation of negation.
