摘　　要：介绍了软件配置管理工具CVS的运行机制及其功能特点,以及小城镇电子政务系统的体系结构和运行模式。针对在小城镇电子政务系统开发中产生的问题,CVS规范了软件开发流程,降低了管理难度,提高了开发效率,使整个开发过程在受控制、高效率的情况下进行,提高系统的可靠性、代码及文档的全面性与可追踪性。Mechanism and functional characteristics of software configuration management tool, concurrent version system, are introduced, system structure and running mode of small town E-government system are also researched, CVS improves software development process, reduces management difficulty and advances management efficiency in order to solve problems in developing small town E-government system and carry through the whole developing procedure under the condition of controllability and high-efficiency, and fit improves the reliability of software, the integrality and traceableness of the code and documentation.
