摘　　要：在当今中国的音乐文化发展史上，上海歌剧院这些年来脚踏实地、颇有章法并有板有眼地一部部推出世界歌剧宝库中的珍品。在院长、艺术总监张国勇的统帅下，上海歌剧院以其独有的艺术激情和艺术水准在当今中国乐坛占据了不可替代的地位，对推动音乐文化艺术在中国的发展发挥了极大的作用，成为上海音乐文化的象征，更成为当今我国歌剧艺术水平的代表。OUTLINE / On February 1 and 2, 2008, Giuseppe Verdi＇s Otello was presented at the Oriental Art Center Opera Hall by the Shanghai Opera House, with a fully Chinese cast, from conductor Zhang Guoyong to singers Ma Mei, Wei Song and Yang Xiaoyong. A 100% Shanghai Opera House production from technical staging to costume design, critical response to the production has been positive. This is one step forward for the Shanghai Opera House, and more will come as opera productions continue strive to reach even higher potential.
