摘　　要：Stanniocalcin(STC) is a glycoprotein hormone that was firstly found in bony fish.The related human proteins,STC1and STC2,are expressed in a wide variety of tissues.STC1 is involved in calcium and phosphate homeostasis,and plays important roles in carcinogenesis.This article reviews the data currently available regarding the human STC1,and discusses the roles they may play in normal physiology and in cancers.Stanniocalcin （STC） is a giycoprotein hormone that was firstly found in bony fish.
