摘　　要：随着计算机技术、可视化技术、GIS技术以及遥感技术的发展，虚拟现实技术已经应用于地形环境的表现，对于虚拟地形环境的可视化研究已经成为当前的热点。本文介绍了虚拟地形环境的概念、分类，分析比较了地图可视化与虚拟地形可视化，最后对虚拟地形环境的可视化进行了论述。With the development of computer technique, visualization technique, GIS technique and RS technique, virtual reality already used in virtual terrain environment, the research on virtual terrain environment is a hot point, This paper offers the conception and sorts of virtual terrain environments ; analysis the difference between virtual terrain environment＇s visualization and cartographic visualization. Discusses the visualization of virtual terrain environment.
