摘　　要：目的：探讨全甲状腺切除术的适应证、操作技巧及其安全性。方法：对内蒙古医院1990年5月-2006年5月实施的90例全甲状腺切除术患者进行回顾性分析总结。结果：90例全甲状腺切除术后患者无1例发生永久性声音嘶哑和永久性手足抽搐，暂时性手脸麻木及手抽搐16例，术后出血1例，切口感染1例。结论：全甲状腺切除术安全可行，但应严格选择手术适应证，术中仔细操作，使并发症降至最低。Objective： To discuss on the indication, techniques and safety of total thyroidectomy. Methods：From May 1990 to May 2006, 90 cases undergoing total thyroidectomy in our hosptital were retrospectively analyzed. Results： In 90 cases, there was no permanent hoarse voice and muscular spasms, but there were 1 6 cases of temporal numbness in hand and face and hand spasms, 1 postoperative hemorrhage and 1 infection in incision. Conclusion ： Total thyroidectomy is safe and feasible, but its indication should be strictly controlled. The operation should also be careful for lessening the complications.
