摘　　要：探讨了XML在关系型数据库应用中的优缺点,并着重在数据库性能方面进行实例探究。通过使用.netframework设计具体测试程序,实际考察了XML和常见关系数据库(本文主要以最新的SQLServer2005为例)在增删改等操作时,性能上的差异(本文的实验仅仅用于单用户操作)。This article mainly discusses the performance of XML as a relational database in application, both in good and bad points, and carries on the example inquisition emphatically in the database performance aspect. Through using, net framework to design the concrete test order it, inspectes XML and the common relational database actually （this article mainly takes newest SQL Server 2005 as example） while operation data by insert/modify/search/delete and so on, in the performance difference （this article experiment merely uses in single user operation）.
