摘　　要：在一定意义上科学与人文分别表征着人的生物性肉体和精神性灵魂的两重文化存在样式,人文文化所彰显的精神性存在是人的本质存在。人文文化和人文精神内蕴着形而上的本体意义,即人文价值、人文意义、人文理想和人文批判。因而大学教育的本质和终极目的是人文文化的教育和人文精神的涵养。The science and humanities respectively represent the cultural forms reflecting human body and spirit. The existence of spirit in humanistic culture is the existence of human nature. The hu-manistic culture and spirit implicate the metaphysical noumena, i.e. humanistic value, humanistic significance, humanistic ideal and humanistic criticism. Therefore, the nature and the ultimate aim of university education are humanistic education and the cultivation of humanistic spirit.
