摘　　要：本文就《图书馆学基础教程》所涉的一些基本问题与张玉珍老师进行了讨论。认为,探讨图书馆学研究对象,必须研究"图书馆性质"并准确揭示"图书馆"的本质,而不是揭示其他事物的本质。"知识集合论"因对图书馆缺乏专指性,并非图书馆学研究对象。指出,作为教材,《图书馆学基础教程》必须研究"图书馆事业"。强调,研究图书馆学,不能随意拓展"研究空间",否则图书馆学将不复存在。The paper discusses some basic theory questions of library science related to The Basic Course of Library Sciences with Mr. Zhang Yuz - hen. The paper consideres necessary research ＂nature of library＂ and to revealed essence of library accurately for examining the study object of library science ,is not shed light on essence of other thingso Because the ＂Knowledge Set＂ has a broad connotation, therefore is not the study object of library science. The paper points out that as basic theory textbook of library science, The Basic Course of Library Sciences necessary to research ＂librarianship＂ , stressed research library science can not extend one, research scope freely, otherwise library science not exist.
