摘　　要：地理标志作为国际知识产权保护制度的一项重要内容,在国际贸易中已发挥了重要的作用,但与此很不协调的是,我国目前对地理标志保护的法律规定不完善,存在很多问题。通过比较国际地理标志的不同保护模式及其选择依据,分析了我国地理标志保护模式的现状与存在的问题,并从经济利益、法律属性、法律成本及执法环境方面,分析我国专门立法的必要性,提出了制定地理标志专门保护法的建议。Abstract： Geographical indication is very important in international intellectual property protection and it plays an important role in international trade. However, the law relating to geographical indications protection in China is uncompleted and has many problems. In this paper, a comparison of different international geographical indications protection modes and their selection reasons were carried out. After analyzing Chinese geographical indications protection mode and its problems, a recommendation of the special law legislation to protect Chinese geographical indications was presented. Economic interest, law attribute, legal cost and the environment of executing law were taken into account in this recommendation.
