摘　　要：中国当代陶艺是在中国社会变革和中国当代艺术背景下架构的,它是一种现代艺术视觉观念的承载体,因其切合了当代艺术的本质而成为一种特殊的文化。它的发生和发展基于当代社会形态和时代文化背景,因而它有机会不断审视自己的艺术思想,诠释时代文化。面对当代艺术模式和新的发展,以及国际文化语境的冲击,只有把陶艺定位在中国当代艺术主流格局的时空下,才能去研判它的存在价值,只有以这种观念来看待和实践陶艺,才能延续新的灿烂。The contemporary Chinese ceramic and pottery art is structured on social change in China and present Chinese art. It is the visual concept vector of contemporary art. It has become a kind of special culture as it fits in with the essence of contemporary art. It is based on the appearance and development of present social form and contemporary cultural background, so it is available to examine its own art concepts constantly and interpret the culture of the era. Facing with present artistic models, new development and the conflicts of international cultural context, only when we fix ceramic and pottery in the position of the space- time of Chinese contemporary mainstream art, can we research and assess its value. Only by viewing and practicing pottery according to this concept, can we promote its development.
