摘  要:自1991至1995年间入学人数大幅增加以后,香港社会各界都关注教与学质素问题,认为院校须各自为本身的质素负责,并须就此向公众交代。为此教资会负责监察资助院校的质素保证工作,已于1996年及2002年分别开展两轮教与学质素保证过程检讨工作,且收到了预期成效。Following the extraordinary increase in students admissions during 1991 - 1995, the communities of Hong Kong have being concerned about the teaching and learning quality and believed that it is the responsibility of universities which are expected to present it frankly and publicly. Therefore, the University Grant Committee was appointed to take the responsibility of monitoring quality assurance in the UGC-funded universities. Initial effects have been witnessed in the Teaching and I.earning Quality Process Reviews in 1996 and 2002.
