摘　　要：研究了超宽带探地雷达的探测性能问题。在介质品质因子为常数的假设条件下,定义了超宽带信号的平均损耗,对超宽带探地雷达的探测深度和分辨率进行了定量研究,分别指出了其与百分带宽的关系,分析比较了具有相同带宽、不同百分带宽信号的探测深度。研究结果表明,超宽带探地雷达在探测深度及分辨率方面具有一定的优势,其应用将会越来越广泛。This paper studies the performance of UWB-GPR. The average loss of the ultra-wideband signal is defined under the constant Q medium condition, and a detailed analysis of the penetration depth and resolution of UWB-GPR is carried on. More than that, the relation among penetration depth, resolution and fractional bandwidth is pointed out, and the penetration depth of different signals with the same bandwidth and different fractional bandwidth are analysed. According to the analysis result, the UWB-GPR has certain advantages than a conventional radar on the penetration depth and resolution, and its application will be increasingly widespread.
