摘　　要：学校体育对每一个学生来说是较长的教育过程,从小学、中学到大学,不同阶段的学校体育具有各自的目标、任务和特点.相对于其它学科而言,学校体育更具有其特殊"使命."学校体育是学校教育的一部分;是连接家庭体育和社会体育的中间环节,也是终身体育非常重要的关键环节.人的一生接受系统体育教育最长、最有时间保证的阶段就是学校体育.因此学校体育不仅对终身体育具有承先启后的作用,更重要的它是终身体育的基础。School athletics is a long educational process to each student. School education in different stages including primary school, middle school and university has own targets, missions and characteristics. School athletics has special mission compared with other subjects. It is a part of school education, a link between family athletics and social athletics and a key part for life time athletics. School education is a period that a person accepts system athletics of long time. Therefore, school athletics has the function of linking the past and the future. More important, it is a foundation of life-time education.
